| Implementing rural revitalization and boosting the high-quality development of agriculture are important propositions for the work of agriculture,rural areas and farmers in the new era.General Secretary Xi has repeatedly emphasized on different occasions: "The key to agricultural and rural modernization lies in science and technology and talents." "The key to rural revitalization is talents." Being professional degree,Master of Agriculture is serving for our country’s agriculture,its related industrial systems,management systems and social development.And it has a unique knowledge background advantage in solving the issues of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.And it also the key focus of our country’s deepening of the postgraduate education reform.Since the Ministry of Education launched the adjusted enrollment in the field of agricultural master’s degree in 2018,universities are revising and improving the agricultural master’s training program.The talent training model is the sum of the process of implementing talent education,and it is directly related to the function of talent training and whether the goal of talent training can be achieved.At present,the cultivation of agricultural talents is facing the background of "new agricultural science" construction and "agricultural talent gap but difficult employment".Being the main force in the cultivation of agricultural masters,local colleges and universities must to optimize and perfect the training model to adapt to the development of the times.Therefore,it is necessary to study and explore the optimization strategy of the training model of agricultural masters in local universities.This paper takes 11 local colleges and universities that cultivate master’s degree in agriculture as examples.Based on the perspective of "employability" cultivation of human resource management and the construction of "new agricultural science",it uses the literature research method and quantitative research method to research and analysis Agricultural Master training mode of local colleges and universities.And secondly,it uses the case study method to analyze and discuss the Agricultural Master training mode at high-level universities at home and abroad.And then discussing countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the agricultural master’s training model in local colleges and universities on the basis of practical problems and enlightenment for reference.The specific research questions of this study are:(1)Based on the perspective of system theory,what are the elements of the agricultural master’s training model?(2)What are the Agricultural Master training mode in local colleges characteristics? And what are its shortcomings?(3)What are the excellent typical practices for the cultivation of Agricultural Master in high-level universities at home and abroad? What’s the enlightenment?(4)How to optimize and adjust the Agricultural Master training model in local universities in our country?Basing on the guidance of system theory,the literature analysis of the training model and the research and analysis of relevant agricultural personnel,this paper put forward the elements of the Agricultural Master training model.And then proposes the operational analysis framework of the Agricultural Master’s training model.Through the research and analysis of the training programs of agricultural masters in agronomy and seed industry in 11 local universities and college students,It found that local colleges and universities basically meet the national requirements for the training of Agricultural Master in terms of student training years,curriculum modules,dual tutor system,and offcampus practice base configuration.But there are some problems in the training objectives,training process,support conditions,and quality assurance.Basing on the advanced experience and enlightenment analysis of Agricultural Master’s education in high-level universities in the United States and China,New Agricultural Sciences construction requirements and the master of agricultural students’ "employability",the paper put forward countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the training mode of Agricultural Master for local colleges and universities in our country from the two dimensions of the government and the university level. |
