Tomato (Solunam lycopersicum L.) is famous for wreathes of good nutritional value and economic benefits. It is an important staple vegetable in China. However respiration rate of tomato fruit dramatically jumps during the ripping which leads the fruit quickly rots and softens. So the respiration rate seriously affects economic value of the storage. Tomato respiration rate are closely related to the ethylene production during fruit ripping. The modern biotechnology is used to inhibit ethylene production in tomato breeding to improve tomato storability. Germplasm refer to the raw materials for breeding which is the basis of research and genetic improvement of crops. The abundance of germplasm resources determines the breadth of breeding. Introduction is an effective way to enrich tomato germplasm resources. However the priority traits of germplasm resources should be investigated and evaluated.This topic is divided into two parts:the high generation inbred which contains the anti-ACO gene combine with other elite inbred line by artificial pollination. Then we carry out experiments and summarize and analysis about cross combination and storage tolerance. Combine the molecular maker with field performance to isolating and screening segregation population. We make compare test on planting of these materials of167foreign tomato germplasm resources. Investigation and Statistics of tomato morphological and biological characteristics and quality traits was analysised. Selecting high quality materials for tomato breeding based on simplified date and multivariate analysis. The results were as follows:1Using the transgenic anti-decayed inbred as the male parent and other good agronomic character as female inbred make hybridization test. We get30hybrid combinations and carry out the variety test in2012autumn and2013spring. The crosses AH2and SH3were screened out with the following characteristics such as indeterminate growth and heterozygous resistant and can be stored for long time. The difference is AH2belong to big fruit, while SH3is small fruit.2The F3generation from previous work will be separated while chooses the good crosses to self-separation in variety comparative test. The Km screening in seeding stage and molecular maker and filed traits survey were used to improve efficiency of inbred separation. We finally get147portions of long keeping lines from backcross generations and self-bred progenies.3Botanical characteristicsIn this search, the growth type was selected indeterminate growth type and limited growth type, the mainly growth type was indeterminate growth type which have94copies; the other type is limited growth type which contain64copies. The indeterminate growth type tomato inflorescence is for2-3, the limited growth type tomato is1-2, While indeterminate growth type tomato grows vigorously belonged to late-maturing, the limited growth type tomato belonged to early-maturing, There is much difference in other tomato traits such as plant posture and type of leaf color of leaf and Leaf state Leaf lobes.4Fruit characteristics of tomatoIn this study, the difference in tomato fruit is significant. Such as fruit weight, the minimum weight is3gwhile the maximum weight is351.2g. There are68varieties belonged to small fruit and94varieties belonged to middle fruit and other5varieties belonged to big fruit. The range of0.62to1.85shows the difference in fruit shape index of these materials. Most of germplasm belonged to round and flat type. Most of the ripped fruit color is red and a little of them is pink and dark red and less orange. The purple and yellow are very valuable. On edge of fruit and Fruit cracking, only a small part of them have these bad characters. Soluble solids connect in the range of2.7%to8.7%, most of them between5%and7%.As to number of locules show a obvious difference which closely related to fruit weight. The fruit hardness in the range of4.23to8.97. Number of hard fruit is very little.
