Agricultural utilities refers to agricultural production under controllable environmental protection. It can be a help to make possible agricultural industrialized operation and production, getting rid of the restriction of natural conditions, and the transition from traditional agriculture to intensive agriculture. The greenhouse is a key part of agricultural utilities. Modern multi-span greenhouse is in great progress as an industry in spite of its late beginning. The research of greenhouse is focused on the environment instead of the stability and security of greenhouse structure, which leads many risks in built greenhouses or others in construction. In recent years there have been many accidents of greenhouse structure collapse due to extreme weather condition like storm. And they have caused considerable economic loss.The composition is focused on the resistance to snow load of greenhouse. First, I make some generalizations of research situations of multi-span greenhouse at home and abroad. And then I picked up a proper structure type as my object of study among relatively common greenhouse structures. On the basis of referring to the domestic and overseas designing regulations of greenhouse structure and structural mechanics, I analyzed the greenhouse structure and confirm the unfavorable load effect combination.I did some Statics analysis on the structure using ANSYS and processed different load effect combinations to get the stress-strain diagram. I also did numerical simulation analysis using ANSYS on snow distribution, simulating the effect of wind from all directions to get snow distribution and snow load distribution cloud pictures.The cost is the major barrier of promoting multi-span greenhouse. In this composition, the common method of upgrading the structure is discussed. That is to use finite element software, on the basis of assuring the intensity, stiffness and stability and with the purpose of upgrading the size of section and decreasing the amount of materials.In this composition, the method of analyzing resistance to snow load is discussed, and finite element analysis is done on structure of greenhouse to upgrade the design of the structure. Finally, a properly distributed, well in resistance to snow load, thrifty in materials, easy in construction, convenient in promotion structure of greenhouse is born, which will provide some theoretical contribution and practical values for mass multi-span greenhouse.
