The Study Of Building Knowledge-sharing Systems In Agricultural Research Institutions

Agricultural research institutes are the main force of China’s scientific and technological innovation in agriculture area. With the development of agriculture industrialization, and the increasingly fierce competition in scientific research, Agricultural research institutes are in transition from traditional to modern institutes, Knowledge management and knowledge sharing are gradually revealing their position that can not be ignored, which also aroused agricultural research institutes managers’ attention. Currently, some specialized research institutes are starting from technology file management, strengthen single research institution knowledge management. Network technology can let knowledge be widely used and make knowledge externalization. Than more and more researchers can get knowledge in the process of technological innovation, so that science and technology get inherited, and improve research ability.Agricultural research institution is a knowledge-intensive organization, it engaged in scientific research. In this institution, from managers to workers, they all have rich agricultural research knowledge and practice experience. To agricultural research institution, the knowledge and technology is the core resource. However, the current knowledge sharing situation is not optimistic, knowledge resources fragmented and disorderly; knowledge sharing attitude is not taken seriously; knowledge sharing is unrelated with individual performance. These factors affect the practice of knowledge sharing in agricultural research institution. Therefore, the purpose of this study is based on the actual situation of agricultural research institutions, research knowledge sharing strategies, focusing on getting the actual needs of the unit, solve the factors that affect the implementation of knowledge sharing, according to the actual situation, establishing a reasonable and useful system, designing the using modules and running the system successfully.At first, we describe the purpose, significance, background, main contents, methods and innovations of the research, these are the basis of further research. The second part is the theoretical basis of the article, introduces some concepts, including content, process, factors of knowledge sharing. Analyzed and summarized the current status of knowledge sharing application, especially researched the practice of doing knowledge sharing in the field of agricultural research, and concluded the current practice rarely. The third part the survey focused on researching the reality of knowledge sharing, which is the preparatory work to build knowledge system: We analyzed the characteristics, constitute, transforming ways of the agricultural research institution knowledge, these are different from other organizations. For the knowledge sharing platform is more scientific and rational use, we made a investigation in The Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Institute. The fourth part of the article is the questionnaire part. Through the research, we get a lot valuable information:about the attitude of knowledge sharing in different ages, jobs, academic, promote or impede factors, sharing preferences and operating requirements, then used EXCEL and SPSS to aggregated and analyzed. On the basis of the feasibility analysis and questionnaires, we designed the knowledge sharing platform model for this agricultural research institute, which is comply with the requirements of their employees. We used ASP. NET, Structured Query Language, B/S structure to build this system. The system contains four major modules: knowledge sharing platform, performance evaluation scoring system, scientific management, system maintenance, knowledge sharing platform also has three small modules: knowledge collection, knowledge base, knowledge sharing. With the computer network, this system get a satisfactory results. At last, according to the results of practice, we summarized the whole study and pointed out the direction for the next study.
