| Remote automatic metering division gate is the key equipment to realize irrigation informatization. The hydraulic engineering informatization of irrigation area in our country starts late and the research on the remote automatic gate with a metering function is still at the early stage. The level of information management is inefficient. The high price, complicated operation and hydrologic adaptability of products result in difficulty in comprehensive promotion to use them. In this paper, the remote automatic metering gate system is developed to meet the use of irrigation area in our country. It is significant to realize the accurate water distribution, scientific operation and informatization management in the irrigation area.The remote automatic metering division gate system can control canal water precisely by combining flow measurement, water levels both at the upstream and downstream and gate control. The water fluctuation is at the minimum level so as to ensure the steady water supply of farmland by decoupling control. By supplying water as needed and ordering water through computer network, the agricultural water utilization increased and the water user can order water through mobile or network as needed, then the water operation system will control the corresponding gate to irrigate farmland with the fixed time and the fixed quantity.In the hardware design of the gate terminal, STM32-F407IGT processor was selected as the master control chip, and the function module was designed including the storage circuit, motor drive circuit, data acquisition circuit, GPRS communication module, power supply module, screen display and so on. The gate metering was achieved by applying the theory of open channel flow and sensor measurement technology. The technology of the Internet of things helps gate can be control from remote area.In the gate software system, gate terminal has developed a variety of work modes to meet various requirements of the irrigation channel, and the real-time traffic can be calculated and then sent back to the remote water transfer center; The main function of the remote water transfer center software includes real-time monitoring of remote automatic metering gate in irrigation area, information management of the use and the order of water users at all levels, watershed history hydrologic analysis and so on.Finally, the experiments have been carried out to verify the remote automatic metering gate performance. The validity of the flow formula is verified and the various flow coefficients were confirmed through the simulation experiments. The accuracy of the gate current surveying was verified by practical applications. Experiments have proved the stable operation, measurement of high precision, simple operation, good hydrologic adaptability to water of the remote automatic metering gate system, meeting the requirements of the informatization construction in the irrigation area. |
