Objective:To examine the discrepancy between blood lipid (serum total cholesterol, glycerin trimyristate)&lipoprotein (high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein) ofcolorectal cancer patients and colorectal benign lesions(ulcerative colitis, colorectalpolyp) of healthy people; meanwhile, tumor markers with medium-or-low combinedsensitivity and specificity are also checked(carcinoembryonic antigen, cancerantigen72-4and carbohydrate antigen19-9), so as to explore the lipid metabolism and thetumor incidence of colorectal cancer patients and study the significance of measuring theblood lipid and tumor markers of colorectal cancer patients. Methods:With biochemical methods, the paper tests the blood lipid and lipoproteinlevel of150colorectal cancer patients,90ulcerative colitis patients,90colorectal polyppatients and90healthy persons respectively, and compares the levels of serum totalcholesterol, glycerin trimyristate, high-density lipoprotein and low-density lipoproteinbetween patients with colorectal cancer and patients with ulcerative colitis, colorectalpolyps&healthy people, so as to explore whether the results has statistical difference. With chemiluminescence immune analysis method, the paper analyzes the levels ofserum carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen72-4and carbohydrate antigen19-9of150colorectal cancer patients,90ulcerative colitis patients,90colorectal polyp patients and90healthy persons respectively, and compares the levels of colorectal cancer patientsand three groups of comparing objects (ulcerative colitis patients, colorectal polyppatients and healthy persons), so as to explore whether the results has statisticaldifference. In addition, the paper also conducts epidemiological investigation betweencolorectal cancer patients and three groups of comparing objects on influencing factorssuch as condition of other diseases, habits like smoking and drinking, and avoirdupois etc.Due to individual diversity, each person is different in acting capacity and daily eatingcondition; the author tries best to eliminate or equalize various factors influencing bloodlipid level. General demographic characteristics, such as gender, ethnicity, age, occupation, residence and avoirdupois, are pared according to the ratio1:1.Results:Comparing with three groups of comparing objects, the level of serum totalcholesterol and high-density lipoprotein of150colorectal cancer patients is obviouslylow; moreover, later is the Dukes stage, higher is the malignant degree, more serious isthe disease and lower of the serum total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein levels. However, the difference in age and tumor types of patients has no statistical significance.Serum triglyceride level is higher, which has statistical difference.Comparing with three groups of comparing objects, the levels of serumcarcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen72-4and carbohydrate antigen19-9of150colorectal cancer patients is obviously high, which has statistical significance; moreover, later is the Dukes stage, higher is the malignant degree, more serious is the disease andhigher of the serum carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen72-4and carbohydrateantigen19-9levels. However, serum CA19-9level of patients with ulcerative colitis andcolorectal polyp is slightly higher than that of healthy people. Conclusion:Colorectal cancer is one of the diseases caused by blood lipidmetabolic disorder; more serious is the degree of the disease, more obvious is the decrease of serum total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein. However, the influenceof age and tumor type on blood lipid metabolism of the patients is trivial. Both thesensitivity and specificity of serum carcinoembryonic antigen, cancer antigen72-4andcarbohydrate antigen19-9are low among diagnosed patients with colorectal cancer, andcombined examination of the triple indexes can compensate the shortage of individualexamination. Paying close attention to blood lipid change of high-risk population andcarrying out examination of tumor markers are conducive to the prevention and treatmentof colorectal cancer.
