Relationship Between The T Staging Of The Seventh Edition And Lymph Node Metastasisof Lung Cancer

Objective: Lymph node metastasis of lung cancer metastasis is the mainway, also is the important factors influencing the prognosis; The new lungcancer TNM staging for T staging the new grading. The aim of this studywas to investigate the relationship between the T staging and grading ofthe Seventh Edition and lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.Methods: In513cases of non-small cell lung cancer primary tumor sizeand lymph node metastasis were analyzed, and explore the situation ofdifferent size, lymph node metastasis in primary tumors. To analyse thecollected data with SPSS software.Results: The total lymph node metastatic rates in tumor diameter biggest(d)≤2cm(T1a)、2cm<(d)≤3cm（T1b）、3cm<(d)≤5cm（T2a）、5cm<(d)≤7cm（T2b）、(d)>7cm（T3）were14.47％、28.89％、37.59％、36.37％、37.89％.The lymphnode metastatic rate of T1a was significantly different,compared withT1b、T2a、T2b andT3,respectively. There were no differences between everytwo groups of T1b,T2a,T2band T3.The N1metastaic rates of T1a、T1b、T2a、T2b、T3were compared by chi-square (P<0.05), The lymph node metastaticrates of T1a and T2a(P=0.001),T1a and T2b(P=0.024).The N2metastaic ratesof T1a、T1b、T2a、T2b、T3were compared by chi-square (P<0.05), The lymphnode metastatic rate of T1a was significantly different,compared withT1b、T2a and T2b,respectively. The lymph node metastatic rate of T1b wassignificantly different,compared with T2a、T2b andT3,respectively. d≤1cm38cases of patients with lung cancer occurred in3cases (7.89%),lymph node metastasis.Conclusion: The new T staging of tumor the size of the new classificationis associated with lymph node metastasis rate, especially in N2.low T1a lymph node metastasis rate.Tumor size grading is relevant to lymph nodemetastatic rate which is significantly different in T1a and T1b.
