Comparison Of Prostecdtive Efficacy Between Polymer-free Paclitaxel-eluting Stent And Polymer-coated Sirolimus-eluting Stent In Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objective: compare the efficacy and safety of Yinyi and Firebird for treatment ofacute myocardial infarction in patients who underwent percutaneous coronaryintervention(PCI).To investigate the safety of Yinyi micropole drug coated stent inpatients with acute myocardial infarction（AMI）.Methods: The study included37patients with acute ST segment elevationmyocardial infarction(STEMI) who had received Yinyi stents implantation and another95patients with STEMI who had received Firebird stents from Jan,2008toDec,2010.The patients were foIlowed up for24months and their incidence ofMACE(cardiac death，repeat angina pectoris and myocardial infarction，target Vesselrevascularization)and stent thrombosis were recorded.Results: Baseline clinical data was similar between the2groups except there weremore males in FB group. There were more anterior wall myocardial infarction patientsin Yinyi group. Three Yinyi stens were implanted in left main and more anteriordescending branch occlusion in Yinyi group. The diameter of Yinyi stents were slightlygreater than Firebird stents. The rate of major adverse cardiovascular events at hospitalwas similar between the2groups. There were no significant differences in rates ofMACE after one or two years between the2groups（P>0.05). There were nosignificant differences in rates of stent thrombosis during the hospital stay，12monthsand24months after operation between the2groups（P>0.05). All patients werefollowed until March2012, Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate MACEevent-free. There were no significant differences in rates of MACE event-free survival.Cox regression analysis showed that anterior descending branch and anterior wallmyocardial infarction were the predictors of MACE events, stent brand was not thepredictors of MACE events. Conclusion：Implantation of Yinyi micropole drug coated stent after PCI is as safeas Firebird stent in patients with AMI. Yinyi can be used safely and effectively inpatients with AMI.
