Objective: Investigate the current condition of medical stuff burnout in amunicipal first class grade three hospital in Dalian with different perspectivedimensions, to understand its characteristics and study its influence factors, searchingfor applicable methods to improve working passion and efficiency, to get morehappiness and achievements, to improve working condition of medical stuff.Methods: By random sampling and inquiry, individuals including doctors, nurses,medical technician and office workers from a municipal first class grade three hospitalin Dalian are investigated and analyzed.Results:1. High scores among surveyed medical stuff in all three dimensionsindicate higher extent of job burnout.2. No statistic difference exists between different sexes.3. Doctors show higher degree of emotional exhaustion and possess highest degreeof personal achievement which is the lowest among nurses.4. High-ranking is accompanied with high emotional exhaustion and primary rankmedical stuff has lowest depersonalization.5. Medical stuff with doctor degree has the highest degree of personal achievement,but the master degree has the most severe emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.6. Medical stuff with more than20years’ working experience, the age between46and55years old,have most severe emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, whichmeans they have highest job burnout.7. Married medical workers endure more emotional exhaustion than unmarriedindividuals despite of family support because of more responsibility and pressure,which means they have higher extent of job burnout.8、No statistic difference exists in the emotional exhaustion whether the medicalstaff who on the night shift or not. But the man who on the night shift has higher depersonalization and lower personal accomplishment.9、Multivariate analysis showed that the less personal monthly income, the higherthe titles, the higher the score on the emotional exhaustion dimension; personal monthlyincome, the higher the longer the length of service, higher the score on thedepersonalization dimension; clinicians, personal monthly income the higher the nightshift staff, higher personal accomplishment scores.Conclusions: The medical staff burnout widespread in the A grade3level hospitalof Dalian. By multivariate analysis in the dimension of emotional exhaustion, lesspersonal monthly income, higher professional title are accompanied with higher score ofemotional exhaustion; depersonalization is more serious when the personal monthlyincome is higher and working experience is longer; As for personal achievements,clinical doctors and those who have no night duty, higher personal monthly income isaccompanied with lower personal accomplishment. The medical staff burnout problemshould arouse the attention of relevant departments and leadership, so they wouldintervention medical personnel prone to burnout earlier, and through the joint efforts ofindividuals, organizations and societies to improve the medical staff of Job Burnout.
