Since human society entered the twenty-first Century,the rapid development of economy,updating of knowledge and information,substantial progress of science and technology,and a series of other factors have brought a rich material and spiritual civilization to the public,but also make employees in a complicated and competitive environment,prone to occupational burnout.Among them,medical personnel,praised as "white angel",bear the sacred responsibility to cure the si--ckness.And they are also faced with a series of physical and mental pressure,like illness and death,improving the professional quality,coping with complex and individual differences of disease,and the medical disputes with a certain of possibilities to take place.Among medical personnel,township medical staff who work in the grass-roots hospital organization,bear the diagnosis and treatment work of "common diseases" and"frequently-occurring diseases" in rural residents.Their working life and job burnout level is directly related to rural residents’ evaluation of medical and health services,and the stable development of rural medical and health system.According to the operational theory of the three dimensional degree of occupational burnout,writer takes part of the township medical staff as research subjects and uses the form of questionnaire survey to carry out an investigation in C County of Hunan Province,obtaining the following results:1.Township medical staff have been in the phenomenon of job burnout.In the three dimensions,emotional exhaustion and depersonalization are all low to moderate,and the personal accomplishment is in the extraordinary low.2.The individual factors covering educational background,professional title,job classification,preparation,length of service,role conflict and coping style,the organizational factors covering income,working and living environment of health center,the social factors covering patient support,friends and family support are the main factors that affect the emotional exhaustion of medical workers in township hospitals.3.The individual factors covering marital status,professional title,job category,role conflict and positive coping,the organizational factors covering weekly working hours,monthly night shifts,formal and informal training times,the social factors covering friends and family support are the main factors that affect the depersonalization of medical workers in township hospitals.4.The individual factors covering age,marital status,professional title,job category,preparation,role conflict,role ambiguity,positive coping,negative coping,general self-efficacy,the organizational factors covering monthly night shifts,formal and informal training times,the social factors covering colleagues support,friends and family support are the main factors that affect the personal accomplishment of medical workers in township hospitals.5.In the correlation analysis,emotional exhaustion is significantly negatively correlated with the quality of service,personal accomplishment is significantly positively correlated with the quality of service,depersonalization is significantly negatively correlated with the quality of service.In addition,significant correlation exits between the three dimensions of job burnout,showed that the occurrence of job burnout is a continuous phase of a process or phenomenon,consistent with the results of Maslach and many domestic scholars.According to the results of data analysis,Medical personnel in rural area has produced a certain degree of burnout,the author puts forward the relevant intervention measures from three aspects of the individual,the institutes of health organizations and the society.Township medical staff should have a correct understanding of job burnout to establish long term career planning and the correct way of self-awareness;master favorable communication skills and coping styles;actively cultivate interest and participate in activities of literature,art and sports.Medical organizations should improve training mechanism,incentive mechanism and scheduling system;clear the duties and responsibilities of the medical staff;further promote the communication between the township health center and other departments;improve the hardware facilities and strengthen the relevant policy advocacy.About social aspects,create a nice public opinion environment,set up the professional image of township medical staff,further improve the social support around the work and life of them.
