Objective:Compare double the source CTA (DSCTA) and ultrasound (CDUS) ofcarotid atherosclerotic plaque detection, consistency between the of plaque nature andvalue determined by the degree of stenosis, and two kinds of inspection methods.Materials and Methods:July2012to March2013, the Second Affiliated Hospital ofXinjiang Medical treatment, strict implementation of the inclusion and exclusion criteria,154cases of patients, to simultaneously DSCTA and CDUS checks. Overall detection ratecompare two methods of carotid artery plaque, plaque distribution, nature and consistencyof the results of the degree of stenosis.Result:(1) The diagnosis of two methods ofatherosclerotic plaques in the carotid position of the left and right sides of the distributionof the difference was not statistically significant, the left and right on both sides of Kingartery plaque distribution agreement; carotid bifurcation plaque at the highest detectionrate, after the order of the common carotid artery, carotid artery, the external carotid artery.(2)The154patients DSCTA and CDUS detected carotid results,Not found atheroscleroticlesions1049,183plaques of atherosclerotic plaque,Inconsistent resultsis10. Two methodsfor detecting carotid atherosclerotic plaque consistency Kappa test.Kappa=0.922,p<0.001,That DSCTA and CDUS automatically detected carotid plaque consistency.(3)Twomethods statistically significant differences on the detection of the different nature ofplaque(X~2=25.010,p<0.001),CDUS higher detection rate of soft plaque, higher detectionrate DSCTA calcium plaques.(4)Two methods of examination of the degree of stenosiswas no significant difference,(X~2=7.000,p<0.321).Conclusion:(1)The left and rightsides of blood vessels was no significant difference in the distribution of carotidatherosclerotic plaque.(2)Good site for the carotid atherosclerotic plaque at the carotidbifurcation, after the order of the common carotid, internal carotid artery, external carotidartery.Carotid atherosclerotic plaque with calcified plaque based;Followed by the softplaque; Again mixing plaque.(3)The nature of the two methods DACTA and CDUS plaque of carotid atherosclerosis plaque,their distribution was no significant difference in theoverall inspection results.(4)The correlation of the two methods of detection of carotidatherosclerosis. But of the different nature of the plaque two methods differences,DSCTA,check the high rate of calcified plaque CDUS,CDUS soft plaque detection rate DSCTA。(5)Compare two methods of detection of carotid artery stenosis due to atherosclerosisdiagnosis was not statistically significant.
