Objective:This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of thyroglobulin antibodies(TgAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibodies(TPOAb) in patients with systemic autoimmune disease(SAID) and investigate the relation between SAID and autoimmune thyroid diseases(AITD).It will be helpful for the early diagnosis、early treatment and improving the prognosis of autoimmune polyglandular syndrome(APS).Methods:681patiens with SAID and2652normal control(N) were retrospectively analyzed for the presence of TgAb and TPOAb.Results:116/681(17.0%) SAID patients, including13/76(17.1%) DM patients,31/195(15.9%) RA patients,20/71(28.2%) pSS patients,29/219(13.2%) SLE patients,5/60(8.3%) SCL patients,18/60(30.0%) U&M CTD patients, were TGAb or TPOAb positive compared with281/2652(10.6%) normal control. There is significant differece between SAID group and N group(p=0.000). Conclusions:The SAID patients are prone to have AITD, especially in the patients of pSS, RA and U&M CTD. Detection of thyroid autoantibodies is essential for SAID patients.
