| Objective:By observing the influence on Progression free survival (PFS) rate in1year,2years,3years respectively,PFS in three years,the overall survial(OS) rate and OS in three years,quality of life(especially cancer-related fatigue and sleep disorders), untoward effect of Herceptin treatment-related in HER-2positive breast cancer patients with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Here is to provide evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine efficacy,Chinese medicine treat breast cancer for the clinical evidence.Methods:167intent to treatment(ITT) were divided into two cohorts by treatment,of which95cases treated with integrated traditional Chinese medicine and standard western medicine and72cases by the latter alone respectively.The syndrome of TCM include Qi-stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,spleen deficiency and Phlegm-dampness syndrome, Deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin Syndrome, deficiency of qi and blood.Treat different syndromes with Xiaoyao powder and lichong decoction, LiuJunZi Decoction and sanren decoction,yiguan decoction,danggui buxue decoction and Yang-He decoction respectively.The end point was progression free Survial,overall survial and quality of life(QOL).Results:1Comparision of survival:1.1Rate of survivorsPFS in one year of Combined treatment group:95.8%, pure western medicine:90.3%,there is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05). PFS in two years of Combined treatment group:92.6%, pure western medicine:81.9%,there is dramaticlly statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05). PFS in three years of Combined treatment group:87.4%, pure western medicine:72.2%,there is observably statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).The OS of combined treatment group is93.7%,the pure western medicine group is90.3%,there is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05). 1.2LifetimePFS of Combined treatment group in three years is (34.33±0.61) months, while it is (30.71±1.15) months in pure western medicine group,there is statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05). OS of Combined treatment group in three years is (35.83±0.77) months, while it is (35.49±1.69) months in pure western medicine group, there is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).2Quality of life2.1Cancer-related fatigueAfter four weeks treatment, here is no statistical significance between the two groups in the degree of fatigue(P>0.05).After eight weeks there is statistical significance between the two groups in the degree of fatigue(P<0.05),and the efficacy of the treatment is significant (p<0.05), there are67cases effective (84.4%),9cases keep stable (11.4%) and7cases noneffective in combined treatment group,but they are43cases (69.4%),12cases (19.4%),7cases (11.3%) respectively in pure western group.2.2sleep disordersThere are56cases improved their sleep inthe combined treatment group(77.8%),in pure western treatment group.there are34cases (60.7%).There is statistical significance between the two groups(P<0.05).2.3Adverse reaction in Herceptin-treated:2.3.1Cardiotoxicity incidence ratein the4th,8th,12th month with Herceptin-treated,there is0patient (0%)、3patients (3.8%)、5patients (6.4%) occurred cardiotoxicity respectively in combined treatment group,while it is1patient (1.8%)、4patients (7.0%)、7patients (12.3%) respectively in pure western medicine group.There is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).2.3.2heart-related symptomsIn the4th month with Herceptin-treated, there is18patients (23.1%) occurred palpitation in combined treatment group,while it is23patients (40.4%) in pure western medicine group.There is no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).But in the8th month,there is30patients (38.5%) and32patients (56.1%) respectively in the two groups.There is statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine combined western to treat the breast cancer with HER-2positive is better than western medicine in improving the PFS and the quality of life. |
