Objective:Our study established tracheal reconstruction model of end-to-end anastomosis in rabbit tracheal surgery using three different suture materials. The objective is to elect better suture by means of detecting scar hyperplasia and biomechanical relationships on the different periods of the rabbit tracheal anastomosis healing process. To select more appropriate suture materials for provide theoretical reference of surgeryMethods:18New Zealand white rabbits ware randomly distributed into three groups, each group of6, on the first day, rabbit tracheal end-to-end anastomosis rabbit tracheal reconstruction model was setted up, the first group used silk thread for anastomosis, the second group used polyester thread for anastomosis,Third group usied chitosan lactate910stitches for anastomosis,2,4,8weeks after surgery, each group2rabbits was randomly executed,The vitro rabbit tracheal anastomosis was immediately used to biomechanical indexes (tensile strength, bursting strength) testing, then test the rabbit tracheal anastomosis for pathological examination(immunohistochemistry, HE), collagen level around the suture materials.Results:1、Tensile strength:The tracheas anastomosed by three sutures were fractured close to the anastomotie stoma under external forces after2weeks, after4and8weeks, the tracheas were fractured in the part far away from anastomotie stoma. The sutures were not torn anytime;2、Bursting strength:After2,4,8weeks, three anastomotie stoma was burst from tracheal membranous.3、Collagen I:The collagen I in dacron hread group was less than the others (P <0.05) after2weeks. The collagen I in artificial absorbable suture was less than the others (P<0.05) after4and8weeksConlusions:1、The anastomosis in rabbit tracheal surgery by three suture materials on biomechanical indexes (tensile strength, bursting strength) testing was no lower than healthy tracheas. The stability of biomechanical property was not related to suture material;2、Three sutures materials caused scar hyperplasia have differences in different periods. From the point of long-term effects, absorbable suture materials may have more advantage.
