Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC.are distributed mainly in Yunnan Province,the area is abundant in this specie. The medication history is very long in many places such as Xinping,Malipo. Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC. is an important drug of heat-cleaning, evacuating wind heat, swelling analgesic. As so far, there is still little information available on Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.)DC. both at home and abroad. In order to leverage the honeysuckle species’potential resources and increase awareness about Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.)DC. Systemic pharmacognosy research has been done in this paper, with methods of source identification, material morphology, microscopic characters, Chemical and physical identification. Conventional chemical methods was used to research flowers and buds of Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC. This article hasdiscussed and compared preliminarily about Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC. and Lonicera macrantha(D.Don) Spreng. come from Xinping. Basically. As so far,13monomer copounds have been isolated from flowers and buds of the Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC., triterpene composition, as follow12-en-28-oicacid28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(2),28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl of3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-oleanolic acid(3),3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-28-O-[β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'6)-β-D-glucopyranoside]echinocystic acid(7),19-hydroxyl-12-ursolic acid-28-〔O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl〕ester(9),3-O-β-D-arabinopyranosyl-ursan-12,20(30)-dien-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(6and8). flavonoids ingredients as follow, Quercetin3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (5),Quercetin3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1â†'2)-α-L-arabinopyranoside(11)Quercetin3-O-α-rhamnopyranosyl-(1â†'2)-α-L-arabinopyranoside (12),Quercetin3-O-α-L-arabinopyanosyl-(1â†'2)-β-D-galcopyranoside(13)Quercetin3-O-β-D-galcopyranoside(10). and an Amentoflavone(1), a sucrose(4). All of compounds were isolated from the plant of Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC. firstly. Among them,(6) and (8) are the same one, which is a new compound. The structure of the new compound was elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. What’s more, we had measured contents of chlorogenic acid, Lonicera macranthoides Hand.–Mazz saponin and Quercetin3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside with method of HPLC. we had estimated samples contents from different producing areas.References to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(CHP)(Appendix,2010edition),we had measured some items as follow, plant extract, moisture, ash, heavy metal. Setting up the criterion of limiting and controling about those items, drafting out quality standaras of the Lonicera longiflora(Lindl.) DC. medicinal materials, references to the formal quality standard.
