| This dissertation is comprised of four chapters. The first chapter is theexperimental section of instruments and materials in the experiment, source of plantmaterial and exprimental procedures of extraction and isolation. The second chapterlays out the exprimental results covering the structure elucidation process of novelcompounds, physical and chemical data of compounds and bioassay tests on somecompounds. The third chapter reviews the progress on the phytochemistry study andbiological activity of Nelumbo n. Gaertn.(all parts except the lotus seedpot) and lotusseedpot.By variety of isolation methods such as column chromatography, gelchromatography, macroporous resin, high performance liquid chromatography, etc.and analytical methods including nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum, infraredspectrum, ultraviolet spectrum, mass spectrum, etc. were harnessed, a total of30compounds, including three new compounds were isolated from the maturerecepdpottacle of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.——Lotus seedpot, which were boughtin Bozhou medicine market. The types of the compounds were belonging toAporphine alkaloids, Triterpenoid, Phenols and so on. Their structures weredetermined by spectroscopic methods. Among all the conpounds attained,3compounds were determined to be novel ones,2of the three are Aporphine alkaoidsand1monobenzylisoquinoline alkaloid.Also, the dissertation reviews the progress on the phytochemistry study andbiological activity of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.(all parts except lotus seedpot) andthe lotus seedpot.As a whole, the discovery of these compounds enriched the natural products ofNelumbo nucifera Gaertn., and the structural elucidation of these compounds enhanced our understanding can serve as an alternative in our investigations ofcomplicated natural products. They can all provive new scientific evidences and datafor further research and even utilization of this species.Compounds isolated from the above mentioned are listed below, and thechemical structures are also shown in the following figures. |
