Objective: To study the clinical symptoms, signs, diagnosis, treatment and prognosisof testicular germcell tumor. Methods: From Mar1996to Aug2007,119cases withtesticular germcell tumor treated in The First Teaching Hospital of Xinjiang MedicalUniversity were reported, and the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment wereanalyzed retrospectively. Results:There were75cases of testicular seminoma,44cases oftesticular non-seminoma. The5year survival rates of the stage I, II and III testiculargermcell tumors were92.9%,68.0%,35%。The5year survival rates of seminomas were83.3%,and the5year survival rates of non-seminomas were67.4%. The5year survivalrates of the stage I of the seminomas treated by operation and The5year survival rates ofthe stage I of the seminomas treated by operation and radiotherapy were95.8%, and the5year survival rates of the stage I of the seminomas treated by operation and chemotherapywere90.5%.Conclusion:The prognosis of patients was related to clinical stages,patholog-ical type,treatment and cryptorchidism. Early diagnosis and early treatment are the twomost important factors affecting the survival of patients witht esticular germcell tumor.
