Study On The Chemical Components And Pharmacological Activity Of Magnolia Denudate Desr

Xinyi, which used in headache, rhinitis and rhinobyon as a traditional Chinesemedicine, is the dried buds of Manoliaceae plants of Magnolia biondii, Magnoliadenudate and Magnolia sprengeri. Recently the researchers mainly focus on itschemical constituents and pharmacological activities such as anti-inflammationanti-allergic effect, anti-platelet activating factor and central inhibition effect.However, the document about the systematic study of its chemical constituents andpharmacological activities is rarely reported.The article is composed of three parts:The fist part is about the chemical constituents and pharmacological activitiesand mechanisms of the magnolia plants recently through consulting the literature.The second part is about the chemical constituents of xinyi. The compoundswere isolated by the solvent extraction, silica gel, and reversed-phase silica gelcolumn chromatography, semi-preparative HLPC, medium pressure liquidchromatography and HSCC. The structures of20compounds were identified byvarious spectroscopic methods, which include8furofurans lignans,5tetrahydrofurans,2phenypropanoid glycoside,1dihydrofuran lignans, and4other compounds. Thecompounds1~18were identified as: biondnoid I, syringaresinol, kobusin,medioresinol, pinoresinol dimethy ether, magnolin, lirioresinol-B dimethyl ether,fargesin, epimagnolin B,(7S,8R,8′R)-lariciresinol dimethy ether, magnostellinA,9-O-acetyl-(7R,8S,7′S,8’S)-fargesol,galgravin,veraguensin,3′,4-O-dimethylcedrusin,syringin, Benzyl α-D-mannopyranoside, dibutyl phalate allyl catechol, β-stitosterol.The third part reveals that compounds1~12were not display cytotoxicity toRAW264.7on the concentration range of100μmol/L with the method of MTT assays.The release of nitric oxide, an anti-inflammatory cytokine induced by LPS, can beinhibited by compounds1~12and the compounds have concentration difference.Compounds9,7,8,2,12,10have the well effect.After the work has been done，the research enrichs the study content of xinyi andprovides scientific reference for developing it．...
