Fagopyrum dibotrys (D. Bon) Hara, is a medicinal plant fromFagopyrum genus, Polygonaceae. There are 15 species in Fagopyrumgenus all over the world, and 8 species in our country. Amongthem more than 4 species can be used to treat diseases. Fagopyrumplants distribute in the high and cold mountain regions ofnorthwest, northeast, southwest and north china. And the plantsresources are very abundant. Most of them can clear away heatand detoxicate toxity, and some of them have been used to curevarious diseases. Modern pharmacologic researches found thatthe components coming from Fagopyrum have obvious effect onanti-tumor, declining the blood sugar and fat, anti-rheumatism. So they are good anti-cancer, declining theblood-sugar and fat, anti- rheumatism medicine. In addition,they also have effect on antibiosis, anti-inflammatory,anti-bechic, resolving phlegm and relieving pains.The chemical researches of Fagopyrum plants discover thatthe Flavonoids in the plants of Fagopyrum show intensivephysiologic activity of anti-tumor and oxidation, declining theblood-sugar and fat, resist rheumatism, etc. Cancer, diabetes,hyperlipoproteinemia and rheumatism have become the seriousdiseases damaging human health, but the Fagopyrum plants cantreat these diseases well. So, there is an extensive marketforeground in the space of developing some new medicines to cure cancer, diabetes hyperlipoproteinemia and rheumatism from themedicinal plants of anti-tumor and declining the blood sugarand fat and anti-rheumatism strongerly.Currently, there are still many medicinal plants ofFagopyrum which have not been studied in deepth, we should keepwith the opportunity to study them, and lay stress on theprotecting, developing, making use and studying on the resourcesof the medicinal plants.F. dibotrys is one of the medicinal plants used usually inour country, its former study was centred in anti-tumor activity.But it has been clear through looking up from document that F.dibotrys yet have favourable antirheumatic effect.andalthough the antiinflammatory study about Fagopyrum genus hasbeen researthed many times, the document about pharmaco has notyet been reported. In this paper we worked on its constituentisolation, structure determination and pharmaco- activity onthe basis of the antecedent research.This paper summarizes the research survey of Fagopyrumplants from consititution, pharmacological action, clinicalapplication and so on. And this thesis carries on the researchon structure determination,chemical compounds and clinicalapplication in F. dibotrys, it provides methods to identify F.dibotrys; we get three compounds from F. dibotrys andidentificate them, at the same time determined its antirheumaticactive site, which enriched the chemical composition andpharmaco-activity research of Fagopyrum plants. With solvent and chromatographic methods to extract andisolate the effective composition, we get petroleum ether,chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-Butanol. Then we adoptchromatographic methods to isolate ethyl acetate, and get threecompounds from it and identificate them as(-)epicatechin,-sitosterol and daucosterol by the physical, chemical and1H-NMR,13C-NMR spectrum.On the basis of chemical composition research of F. dibotrys,meanwhile bolting its antirheumatic active site,. using leakageand abstraction methods to extract and isolate it, we getpetroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate,n-Butanol and waterfive positons.by means of pure water as negative array,prednisone acetate as masculine array.Four experiments has beenaccomplished, they were with dimethyl benzene to cause Jimpymice Swelling of auricle, rat CMC dorsal sac leukoplania, ratforced foot degree, the content determination of PGE2 in ratswelling voix pedis foot caused by albumen. According to thedigital information we have obtained, the consequence we arrivedat was that the chloroform position would be wild buckwheat's antirheumatic active siteAfter the work has been done, the research enrichs the studycontent of Fagopyrum plants and provides scientific referencefor developing Fagopyrum plants.
