Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA) with Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) for the treatment of multipleCondyloma Acuminatum (CA).60patients with multiple CA wereobserved before and after the treatment. Methods: A20%5-ALA solution was applied to the CA area3hoursbefore illumination with red light (635nm,100mW/cm2,80J/cm2). Thetreatment was repeated14days after the first treatment if the lesions werenot completely resolved. Results: The complete response rate, recurrence rate and adverse effectin the group were analyzed. After3to4treatments, the completeresponse rate is86.67%(52out of60patients) and recurrence rate is15%(8out of60patients). Adverse effects reported including pain or stingingsensation during and prior to24hours after the illumination.
