This master thesis is composed of three chapters: the chapter1focused on thechemical composition and biological activity of the bark of Toona sinensis (A. Juss) Roem;The chemical and bioactive constituents of Coffea arabica cultivated in Yunnan have beenphytochemically studied in the chapter2. Chapter3focused on the volatile components ofthe Maca cultivated in Lijiang of Yunnan Province.By means of the variety of conventional separation, the most advanced spectroscopicmethods and single crystal X-Ray techniques,131compounds were identified, including17new compounds. The structure of the compound relates to flavonoids, lignin, diterpenes,triterpenes, fatty acid and caffeic acid. Mostly, the new type of compound belonged totriterpenoid and diterpene.The three new amide group-containing triterpenic compounds were named: toonasins A,B, and C; other known compounds: Bourjotinolone B, Photogedunin epimeric Mixture,Betulinic acid, Betulin, Erythrodiol, Gossweilone were isolated from this species by thefirst time. It plays an important role in rich diversity of compounds from Toona sinensis.Furthermore, most compounds from Toona sinensis were assayed for their cytotoxicactivities in vitro. In addition, the compound toonasins B with Bourjotinolone B showedsignificant cytotoxicities. And all the compounds were tested for in vitro insulin-sensitizingactivity test, the compound toonasins A and Gossweilone in10uM concentration of weakinsulin-sensitizing activity.30compounds, including14new ones were isolated from Coffea arabica cultivated inYunnan, which covered diterpene esters, diterpene glycoside, and chlorogenic acids. Mostof the compounds were cytotoxic activity screening, where in the the compoundCoffeaabpuer B, Coffeaabpuer C, Coffeaabpuer E and Coffeaabpuer F, has a certainactivity of in hibiting growth of tumor cells in vitro. All the compounds are carried out thetest of bioassay insulin-sensitizing activity in vitro. Unfortunately, there is no activity.The differences of the main compounds of essential oils by steam distillation extraction,Petroleum ether leaching, and Ether extraction from Lepidium meyenii Walpers cultivatedin Lijiang of Yunnan Province, and Ninety chemical components were analyzed andidentified by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The Study results showedthat the main compounds of essential oils by Petroleum ether leaching is [1,1-dimethylethoxy)methyl]-Benzene (26.00%),N-(phenylmethyl)-Acetamide(23.47%),Phthalic acid, hexyl octyl ester(23.49%), that of steam distillation extraction is2-Tolylisocyanide (81.80%), that of Ether extraction from steam essential oil of Lepidiummeyenii Walpers cultivated in Lijiang is Benzyl nitrile (56.29%). The characteristiccomponents from Lijiang cultivation of maca petroleum ether extract isN-(phenylmethyl)-Acetamide, and it could used as one of the quality control standards.
