Methods53patients with NSCL/P with family history and105healthy controls of Qingdao were examined for TGF-α/Taq Ⅰ genotypes. Results The C2allele frequency in patients with non-syndromic cleft lip with palate with family history was significantly higher than that in healthy controls; There was no significant difference among different types of NSCL/P;There was no significant difference among cases with maternal infection during pregnancy and cases without maternal infection during pregnancy.
