Traditional Chinese medicine Cyathula officinalis Kuan is common and genuine crude drug in Sichuan. It is the dry root of the plant Cyathula officinalis Kuan, which is a perennial herb belong to family amaranthaceae and genus Cyathula. It is clinically for the treatment of the blood stagnation, rheumatism and bruises. However, due to the extensive management of long-term cultivation,varieties degradation and mixed, quality of the drug decreased.1-. Resource survey in the genuine producing area of Cyathula officinalis Kuan Though field survey of three genuine producing areas, several data were got, like ecological environment, hybrid varieties, producing status and the sales price.The hybrid varieties was serious, traditional cultivation was abandoned. Now, the leading variety in producing areas are C.officinalis Kuan, C.capitata Mop and C. officinalis*C. capitata.2、Study on the genetic diversity of Cyathula officinalis Kuan6populations of Cyathula officinalis Kuan in Sichuan were preliminary evaluated. ISSR molecular maker was used in the study of plant traits and genetic diversity of6population and23samples. Though the primers screening test,4polymorphic primers were chose. The average amplified bands were10.75, a total of amplified bands were43, accounting for67.4%of the amplified bands number. Analysis shows in POPGENE, Cyathula officinalis Kuan had a wealthy genetic variation (at the species level He=0.1892, PPL=67.4%,Ho=0.3224; at the population level, He=0.717, PPL=49.16%, Ho=0.2509). The population genetic distance varied from0.52to1.00. In the main producing areas of Sichuan, the genetic diversity is lager in the Cyathula officinalis Kuan species and it is smaller in the population. The genetic diversity is mainly caused by the hybridization between C.officinalis Kuan and C.officinalis*C.capitata. 3、Study on the seed of C.officinalis KuanCurrently, at high altitudes the seed germination rate of C.officinalis Kuan is high, and it is significantly reduced at the altitudes fewer than1500m. The measured seed water content, viability, weight and health of the corresponding data can provide a valid basis for the seeds of C.officinalis Kuan the quality control.
