Phellinus igniarius, a medicinal fungus, belonging to the family of Hymenochaetaceae (Basidiomycotas), which is recognized as one of the most efficient fungi in the treatment cancer at home and abroad, and also with a wide range of medicinal values. Insect drug Armadillidiam vulgare, one kind of desiccative polypide belonging to the family of Porcellionidae, has been used for analgesia from cancers and postoperations. This thesis is focused on the study of the chemical constituents of the above mentioned two medicines, and divided into two chapters. The first chapter mainly reviewed the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of P. igniarius and A. vulgare. In recent years, the domestic and foreign researches indicateed that P. igniarius contained a variety of active ingredients of steroidal compounds, terpenoids, flavonoid, pyranone, phenoloid, coumarins, alkaloid and so on. Previous pharmacological studies showed that P. igniarius has the effects of anti-tumor, immunoregulation, hepatoprotective, liver cirrhosis inhibition, antiperoxidation, and so on. A. vulgare has a very good analgesic effect, and with few chemicals compounds reported till now.The second chapter mainly discusses the research on chemical constituents of P igniarius and A Vulgare Latreille.Total of28chemical compounds were isolated and identified from P. igniarius and A. Vulgare Latreille by meansof multiple of methods and spectral analyses, including chromatography of D101macroporous resin column, constant and medium pressure ODS, C18, MCI-gel, HPLC, silica gel column, silica gel TLC, preparative silica gel TLC, Sephadex LH-20and Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared, ultraviolet, mass spectrometry, X-ray single crystal diffraction. Among the28compounds,18compounds were isolated P. igniarius, and identified as ergosterol peroxide (1), ergostane-4,6,8,22-tetrad ene-3-one (2),3-hydroxyfriedel-3-en-2-one (3),3-hydroxyfriedel-2-one (4), friedelin (5), octadecanoic acid (6), n-octane (7)、n-undecane (8)、n-eicosane (9)、4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3-butene-2-one (10)、4-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3-butene-2-one (11)、protocatechualdehyde (12)、inotilone (13), inoscavin A(14), phellibaumin E (15), uracil (16),uridine (17) and propanetriol(18). Among them, compounds3-9and16-18were isolated from this genus of Phellinus for the first time.10compounds were isolated from A. Vulgare and identified as:cis9-ene-octadecanoic acid (1), octadecanoic acid (2), quebrachol (3), ergosterin(4),5-ene-3βcholesterine (5),7a-hydroxyl cholesterine (6),7β-hydroxyl cholesterine (7), uracil (8), thymine (9) and proline (10). Among them, compounds8and9were isolated from A. Vulgare for the first time.
