In this paper, we study the content of the main chemical composition of Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi in different parts which come from the different origin in FuJian. observe the changes of different ingredients harvest, research the anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of different parts of herbs, and then try to investigate the correlation between differences in the content of chemical composition and pharmacologically active. Thesis consists of the following components:1We have established a method of chromatographic fingerprint analysis on stem of Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi by HPLC, and found18common peaks.Compared with the control profile, most samples from different habitats were similar, however the saimilarities among the13baches samples appeared low degree. Through principal component analysis,18frinerprint peaks were divided into4principal component. Based on the principal component composite scorec, the samples from different origin were classified into3grades, those methods provided reference for the drug with development and utilization of medicinal resources.2We also have set up the gas fingerprint of the volatile constituents from the leaves of Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi, and19co-possessing peaks were choosed as fingerprint common peaks. By way of SPSS19.0, we obtained6principal component, the volatile oil samples from different origin were also classified into3grades. The chemical constituents of volatile oil from different parts of the herbs have been isolated and identificated by means of GC-MS. The resrlts show that composition and content of volatile oil come from different parts and origins have large degree difference, the volatile oil extraction rate from stem parts is0.12~0.2%, the leaf parts is between0.9-3.4%.168kinds of compounds were identified from Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi, most of them were monoterpenes and derivative compounds, sesquiterpene and derivative compounds, diterpenoids compounds, the others were aromatic compounds, alkane, alkene, ketonesm, acid and Ester compounds.3The UV spectrophotometry was used to determine the content of polysaccharides and total saponins in Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi, besides observed the two chemical composition in different harvest. From the results, the content of polysaccharide was higher than the total saponins, the degree of total saponin content among different origins was insignificant. In different harvest, the chemical ingredients were also different. the highest content of polysaccharides was in the spring, however, as the seasons change polysaccharide content decreased. Unlike the polysaccharide, the total saponin content increased with harvest of the year, the cumulative amount of the maximum was in autumn, but when temperature dropped the total saponin content would decrease. In addition, the correlation analysis results showed that polysaccharides and total saponins in different origins appeared significant negative correlation.4To investigate the correlation between pharmacologically active and source of herbs, combined principal component analysis and cluster analysis, we studied volatile constituents of leaves and aclcohol extract from different origins medicinal material on the model of Xylene-induced ear edema and zcetic acid in mice. The results showed that volatile oil and aclcohol extract both had varying degrees of anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity, in which the anti-inflammatory effects of volatile oil was better than effects of, and the best anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of aclcohol extracts came from Fukouheshan.
