Endophytic fungi inhabiting in nearly all plants conceived species bio-diversity, which formed unique biosynthetic pathway and produce diverse secondary metabolites with a wide range of bioactivities. These compounds play an important role in the medical and health, agriculture and other fields.Suaeda salsa (L.) is the sole species of Chenopodiaceae, widely distrib-uted in China, mainly in some provinces just like Hebe、Shanx、Ningxia、 Qinghai and in north part of Shanxi and Gansu provinces. An endophytic fungus Aspergillus niger has a wide range of activities. The compounds were isolated and identified from the extract of Aspergillus niger with the same bioactivities.In our study, we have obtained eight secondary metabolites from an endophytic fungus Aspergillus niger from traditional Chinese herbal Cheno-podiaceae Suaeda salsa.The fungus was extracted three times with EtOAc. And extract wasfractioned Sephadex,we obtained four main fractions. The four fractions were further purified by Sephadex and semipreparative HPLC to provide eight compounds. In order to find more new secondary metabolites from this strain, we fermented the fungi again. From the n-butylalcohol one extract of Aspergillus niger. The extract was fractioned by silica gel vacuum liquid chromatography to yield three main fractions. The fractions were puri-fied by Sephadex and semipreparative HPLC to yield five compounds. Three in these compounds are same as the compounds purified in EtOAc extract. The molecular weights and molecular formula were identified by UPLC-MS.Based on the data of NMR and chemical reactions,10compounds were identified including:aurasperone A、fonsecinone、asperpyrone C、demethylkotanin、 orlandin、pyranonigrin A、 pyranonigrin S、pyrophen、apsernigrin B、2-benzyl-4H-pyran-4-one.In this study, antimicrobial assays against five fungi and two bacteria were carried out. The compounds were used as controls against bacteria and fungi, respectively.
