Endophytic fungi is a class of fungi which spent all or almost all of the life cycle in the plant host and do not show any symptoms to the host.Due to the long-term symbiosis with the host,EndoPhytes from Pharmaeeutieal Plants not only Products sorts of novel bioactive metabolites but also may synthesis the same or similar Products by pharmaceutical plants because of their variety in nature and different metabolic pathway.As researching deeply,Endophytic fungi secondary metabolites were found that have anti-tumor,anti-bacterial,anti-oxidation and other biological activity.Beacause the resource of pharmaceutical plants decrease quickly,plant endophytic fungi have received more and more attention for the reason that they are characterized by abundant resources,strong regenerative capacity as well as support for industrial production.Secondary metabolites from two strains of endophytic fungi were investigated in this study in which there was a mutant by the genome shuffling for the discovery of new bioactive compounds as leading compounds of new drugs,These studies provide a solid theoretical basis for the development and utilization of two plant endophytic fungi.The compounds were isolated from the solid fermentation extracts by repeated column chromatography(CC)on silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,RP-18,preparative thin layer chromatography(PTLC)and by recrystallization.The structures of the compounds were identified using a variety of spectroscopic methods(1H-NMR,13C-NMR,HSQC,HMBC,1H-1H-COSY,IR,ESI-MS,UV,etc.).Totally,7 compounds were isolated and elucidated,two of them were new compound.From the extracts of Caesalpinia decapetala,three compounds were isolated and elucidated.Among them,one compound was found to be new compounds.From the extracts of Abelmoschus sagittifolius(Kurz)Merr.,Four compounds were isolated and structurally elucidated,one of them was a new compund.In this paper,five compounds were isolated from the two plants endophytic fungi which was detectded vitro antitumor activity by MTT assay.Compound 1,2 and 3 show weak inhibitory effect on human HeLa cells line and hunman colon carcinoma cells in vitro.To sum up,the secondary metabolites of endophytic fungi from two plants were studied and the seven compounds were screened for anti-tumor activity in vitro,All of these studies provide solid theoretical basis for development and utilization of plants.
