The Clinical Observation Of Nonneoplastic Epithelial Disorders Of Vulva

Objective:It is to observe the clinical effects of Yuyin pill, sitz bath with Chinese herbal fumigant and Interferon α-2b gel on Vulvar white lesion due to liver and kidney Yin deficiency.To explore the mechanism of action, so that a more effective therapy method could be obtained.Methods:Auto-control studying before and after treatment was used.Choose the patients according with the standards of liver and kidney Yin deficiency type.Then we divided them into three groups.They are squamous hyperplasia of vulva,lichen sclerosis of vulva and a mix of them.There are28cases in each group.The patients are received treatment of Yuyin pill, sitz bath with Chinese herbal fumigant and Interferon α-2b gel.To observe the changes before and after treatment which includes the feeling of pains and itching,the area of skin lesions, the degree of pigment decline and some related symptoms.We also need to pay attention to possible drug reactions.The curative effect and safety of this treatment needs to be evaluated.The recurrence of patients in this study were investigated within3months’follow-up.Results:Among84clinically investigated patients,6cases given up the treatment.There are78cases complete the treatment course and the evaluation of each stage. This includes25for squamous hyperplasia of vulva,27for lichen sclerosis of vulva,26for the mixture of the two above.13cases were fully treated in3groups.33cases were significantly improved,21cases were effective,11cases were invalid,1got recurrence. the comprehensive clinical effective rate was85.90%.The patients in each groups got much better improvement in pains,itching,the area of skin lesions, the degree of pigment decline and some related symptoms as compared with that before treatment(p<0.05).All of the patients had no serious adverse event and complication during the period of treatment, And only one recurrence during follow-up period in all the13fully treated patients.Conclusions:Treating the Vulvar white lesion with Yuyin pill, sitz bath with Chinese herbal fumigant and Interferon a-2b gel can significantly improve the patients’clinical symptoms.Such as pains,itching,the area of skin lesions, the degree of pigment decline and some related symptoms. No adverse effect was found during the observation.This treatment has a remarkable effect and practical value for clinic.
