The Study On The Relationship Between The Aurora-a Polymorphism And EBV-associated Gastric Carcinoma

Objective:to detect the association between the Aurora-A polymorphism and risk of EBVaGC.Methods:the genotypes of Aurora-A-91and Aurora-A-169were determined by by PCR and RFLP respectively in48patients of EBV-associated gastric carcinoma,100patients of EBV-negative gastric cancer and100normal gastric mucosa tissues. Compare the distribution of Aurora-A-91and Aurora-A-169in each groups,the justed adds rations were calculated between the genotypes and EBVaGC.Results:the frequency of the three genotypes of Aurora-A-91(AA、AT、TT) in patients with EBV-associated gastric cancer respectively was56.25%、33.33%、10.42%,in EBV-negative gastric cancer patients was40%、42%、8%, in normal gastric mucosa tissues was44%、43%、13%. The distribution of genotypes of AA in EBV-positive patients was significant from the patients with EBV-negative gastric cancer (P<0.05) OR值为2.43(1.13-7.33),which indicates that the polymorphism of is a susceptive factor of gastric cancer in the Chinese people. The frequency of the three genotypes of Aurora-A-169(AA、AG、GG) was75%、22.92%、2.08%in patients with EBV-associated gastric cancer,in EBV-negative gastric cancer patients was79.73%、18.24%.2.03%, in normal gastric mucosa tissues was81%、15%、4%.There was no significant association in patients with EBV-associated gastric cancer and in EBV-negative gastric cancer patients (P>0.05). There was also no significant association in patients with gastric cancer and normal gastric mucosa tissues (P>0.05).Conclusion:the polymorphism of Aurora-A-91is likely to be associated with an increase rick of EBV-associated gastric cancer, the genotypes of AA in Aurora-A-91may be a susceptive factor of EBVaGC. the polymorphism of Aurora-A-169had no significant association with EBV-positive gastric cancer.
