Objective (1) to discover the significant changed indexes between patients with or withoutmacroangiopath secondary to type2diabetes mellitus comparing the indexes includes C reactiveprotein, high density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, glycosylated hemoglobin, fastingblood-glucose,2-hour post-meal blood glucose, insulin sensitivity index, triacylglycerol, andtotal cholesterol with macroangiopath secondary to type2diabetes mellitus with those ofpatients with diabetes mellitus.(2) to obtain the relativity of the risk factors with IMT findingindexes significantly related to macroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes mellitus.(3) toexplore the different durgs’effects on IMT to conclude a proficient therapeutic regimen formacroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes mellitus.Methods500patients with type2diabetes mellitus were included according to Inclusion criteria,178patients of which were separated intoAS group and another322patients were divided intonone-AS group. patients’ smoking history, drinking history, anamnesis incuding of history ofdiabetes and general conditions including weight and height were carefully collected andrecorded. Furthermore the past administration since diagnosis of type2diabetes mellitus werealso recorded. Bloods was drawn from patients underwent fasting food for more than8hours,20ml per patients and equally separated into2tubes. serum was separated from sampleunderwent centrifugation for15minutes and reserved under4℃. C reactive protein, very lowdensity lipoprotein and low density lipoprotein etc in blood were detected by biochemicalanalyzer, and glycosylated hemoglobin etc were determined by High Performance LiquidChromatography analyser. Each group of data±mean4-standard deviation(x4-s)that the use ofstatistical software SPSS16.0t test, variance analysis, two numerical analysis of the correlationbetween variables, using Pearson linear correlation analysis.P<0.05Was considered statisticallysignificant. Results (1)the general conditions are with no significant difference between AS group andNone-AS group.(2)2hBG、ISI、TG、CRP and LDL-C increased significantly in patients ofASgroup compared with None-AS group(P<0.05).(3) SBP(OR1.53,95%CI1.03–2.15, p<0.05)、2h BG(OR1.13,95%CI1.05–2.21, p<0.05)、ISI(OR0.06,95%CI0.033~0.079, p<0.05)、TG(OR3.01,95%CI2.08–3.45, p<0.05)、CRP(OR3.45,95%CI1.01–5.51, p<0.05) and LDL-C(OR2.30,95%CI1.08–2.94, p<0.05) are independent risk factors ofmacroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes mellitus.(4) SBP,2h BG, LDL-C, and CRP aresignificantly related to IMT(p<0.05).(5) biguanide, insulin, statins and anti-hypertension drugseffectively improved the situation of carotid artery lesion(p<0.05).Conclusion (1) SBP,2hBG, ISI, TG, CRP, and LDL-C are independent risk factors ofmacroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes mellitus.(2) CRP is of higher relativity withmacroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes melltus compared with other risk factors.(3)biguanide, insulin, statins and anti-hypertension drugs could effectively prevent themacroangiopathy secondary to type2diabetes mellitus.
