Objective:To detect indicators of type2diabetes patients with atherosclerosis, including adiponectin, high molecular weight adiponectin, glucose, lipids et al., and to explore the role of adiponectin and high molecular weight adiponectin in type2diabetic patients with atherosclerosis. Methods:By carotid Doppler ultrasound diagnose whether the merger of atherosclerosis,113cases of type2diabetes were divided into two groups:type2diabetes patients without atherosclerosis in38cases (NA group), with atherosclerosis in75cases (AS group). Each group of patients to measure height, weight, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), serum adiponectin, high molecular weight adiponectin, fasting blood glucose, lipids, glycated hemoglobin, fasting insulin;30cases of normal healthy persons as control group (NC). Adiponectin and other indicators correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed. Results:Adiponectin and high molecular weight adiponectin levels were lower in type2diabetes group than the healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant. They were also lower in type2diabetes with atherosclerosis than those without atherosclerosis, the difference was statistically significant. In diabetic group, adiponectin was significantly positively correlated with HDL-C, and was significantly negatively correlated with BMI, FPG, TC, TG and HOMA-IR. Adiponectin and high molecular weight adiponectin were negatively correlated with carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) in diabetic patients with atherosclerosis. In type2diabetes mellitus with atherosclerosis groups, IMT as the dependent variable, age, duration of diabetes, BMI, SBP, DBP, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, D-dimer, CRP, HbAlc, HOMA-IR, FPG, APN as independent variables, multiple linear regression analysis showed, HbAlc and APN were influence factors. Whether to merge large diabetic vascular disease as dependent variables, age, duration, BMI, SBP, DBP, D-dimer, CRP, HbAlc, HOMA-IR, FPG, APN as independent variables, Logistic regression analysis shows that age and hypoadiponectinemia were macrovascular disease risk factors in diabetic patients. Conclusion:Adiponectin and high molecular weight adiponectin play an important role in type2diabetic patients with atherosclerotic lesions. There may be a new target for the treatment of type2diabetic macrovascular complications.
