Objective To explore application of Contrast-enhanced Ultrasonography in differential Diagnosis of benign and malignant Adnexal Masses. Methods Thirty-two patients with complex or solid adnexal masses were examined with transvaginal ultrasonography and abdominal contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, the enhanced patterns and the time-intensity curve (TIC) was assesed. The patients were classified into two groups according to the pathological findings. The enhancement patterns and kinetic parameters were compared between both groups. Results Among the30adnexal mass,11of them were malignant and19of them were carcinoid. The normal myometrium was the control, benigh masses took on regularly and lately low or equal enhancement, The contrast agent was seen regularly from periphery into centre and showed normal vessel calibers. TIC appeared slow-up and slow-down type in benigh masses, malignant masses exhibited hetreogeneous and rapidly high enhancement. The contrast agent was derived irregularly from centre into periphery including bulky vessel, TIC quick-up and slow-down type in malignant masses. Time to top (Tp)、area under curve(AUC) in adnexal malignant group was significantly higher than that in benign group (P=0.000), while there was no significant difference of peak time(Peak), mean transit time(MTT) between benign and malignant groups. Concllusion CEUS can demonstrate the blood perfusoin characteristics of adnexal masses more clearly and contributes to improve the diagnosis accurate rate by analyzing the enchancement mode,TIC and its various parameters in adnexal masses...
