Study Of High Normal Blood Pressure And The Correlation Between Brachial Ankle Pulse Wave Velocity (baPWV)and Human Arteriosclerosis

Objective:According to the guidelines for the prevention and treatment of hypertension Chinese2005Revision, blood pressure in the120-139/80-89mmHg range of normal value. In recent years, international research gradually aware of the dangers of high normal. Our study shows that, blood pressure less than110/75mmHg at risk of120-139/80-89mmHg occurred within10years of cardiovascular disease than the blood pressure increased more than1times, the blood pressure of120-129/80-84mmHg in10years for the development of hypertension was45%, blood pressure130-139/85-89mmHg in10years is64%. Hypertension should be early prevention has increasingly become a consensus. This study aims to explore the high normal blood pressure and brachial ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) and the relationship between human arteriosclerosis, provides a new way for the occurrence and development of effective prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease at the early stage.Methods:The participants of this study is:1.High-normal values of blood pressure: outpatient follow-up3times the average blood pressure SBP130-139mmHg,and/or DBP85-89mmHg, aged45to79years old (male),50-79(female), at least have one or more multiple cardiovascular disease risk factors.2.Normal blood pressure:outpatient follow-up3times the average blood pressure SBP130-90mmHg and DBP84-60mmHg,aged45to79years old (male)50-79 (female).3.High blood pressure:outpatient follow-up more than3times the average blood pressure SBP140mmHg and/or DBP90mmHg above, aged45to79years (male)50-79years (female).From1900cases of the second affiliated hospital of shandong university of TCM physical examination center crowd health physical examination in the selected160cases of high-normal value of blood pressure,40cases of normal blood pressure,45cases of high blood pressure, ask for details of the medical history, family history of cardiovascular disease, detection of height, weight, waist circumference, electrocardiogram(ECG),fasting serum total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglyceride (TG), fasting plasma glucose (FPG), blood sugar2hours after meal (OGTT),hepatic function,renal function, routine urine, such as general data, and urine trace albumin filter conform to the standard high-normal value of blood pressure108cases, the first30cases randomly selected.30cases of normal blood pressure,30ases of high blood pressure Adopting automatic pulse wave meter of the above three group of participants humus ankle arterial pulse wave conduction velocity (baPWV)detection, to reflect the high blood pressure, high-normal value blood pressure and normal blood pressure in the arteries, the arteries of the state.Result.The research shows:BP high normal value of the average baPWV value of the right lower extremity was1469.33±32.904cm/s, the left lower limb was1467.63±31.239cm/s, the incidence of atherosclerosis:the right lower limb in mild AS,33.3%, of severe AS was26.7%; the left lower extremity of mild AS was36.7%, AS was20%, in severe hypertensive patients; the average value of baPWV on the right lower extremity was1904.33±83.928cm/s, the left lower limb was1857.30±74.386cm/s, the incidence of atherosclerosis:the right lower limb, in severe AS is100%, the left lower extremity, severe AS was96.7%in normal blood pressure; the average value of baPWV was1309.17±13.812right lower extremity:the left lower limb was1306.48±16.403cm/s, atherosclerosis the right lower limb in mild AS is16.7%, the left lower extremity with mild AS20%, there were no in the left lower limb, severe AS. Analysis showed that:the left and the right lower extremity baPWV respectively between the three groups, to do the test for homogeneity of variance, P less than0.005, the variance not neat, single factor variance analysis showed that, P values were less than0.005, with statistical significance between the three groups in mean total difference.Conclusion:High normal blood pressure in baPWV mean value in the range of1400-1500, the incidence of AS is far lower than hypertensive patients than in normotensive subjects, and the occurrence of AS high, and normal blood pressure was only mild AS, incidence rate of not more than20%, but the high normal blood pressure appeared, in severe AS, incidence rate more than20%. This could explain the high normal blood pressure should give effective control of blood pressure and positive, not only can reduce the vascular injury delayed onset of AS, but also has a protective effect on target organ, effective prevention of cardiovascular disease.
