Acupuncture Effect Caused By Deqi Acupuncture At Shenmen Acupoint On Patients With Insomnia

Objective:To observe the acupuncture effect caused by deqi acupuncture at Shenmen acupoint on patients with insomnia.Methods:30cases of subjects included in the standard of inclusion criteria were randomly divided into Deqi treatment group and control group.20cases in the former and10cases in latter. Subjects in the treatment group were treated by acupuncture needling with deqi, subjects in the control group were treated by acupuncture through skin and retaining needle time for20minutes. Separately for each subjects in front of the acupuncture needle18minutes after the test the electroencephalogram (EEG) of blood oxygen saturation.Finally:(1)After acupuncture EEG alpha frequency average higher than acupuncture before in the Deqi treatment group (P<0.05),the mean oxygen saturation after acupuncture has significant difference compared with acupuncture before (P<0.05).(2)EEG alpha after transdermal shallow needle thorn group average frequency higher than acupuncture before(P<0.05).after acupuncture blood oxygen saturation mean there is no significant difference compared with acupuncture before (P>0.05)(3)Deqi treatment group and transdermal shallow needling group compared to the18minutes after acupuncture EEG alpha frequency significant differences mean oxygen saturation(P>0.05)Conclution:(1)Acupuncture in patients with insomnia at Shenmen acupoint can raise average EEG alpha frequency, Deqi acupuncture needling to alpha frequency is greater than the effect of transdermal shallow needle thorn,EEG alpha frequency can be used as in the case of a change of acupuncture for patients with insomnia at Shenmen acupoint when Deqi acupuncture.(2)Deqi acupuncture at Shenmen acupoint makes the mean oxygen saturation of patients with insomnia presents a centricity fluctuations,blood oxygen saturation can be used as in the case of a change of acupuncture for patients with insomnia at Shenmen acupoint when Deqi acupuncture.(3)Acupuncture in patients with insomnia at Shenmen acupoint, Deqi acupuncture effect is greater than the transdermal shallow needle thorn.
