Objective To explore dietary fiber complex (DFC) on acute pancreatitis (AP)’s mechanism of action of the intestinal mucosal barrier. Methods AP rat model was established with5%sodium taurocholate which was injected into pancreaticocholang retrogradely.44rats were randomly divided into four groups. Simple model group (group A), Enteral Nutrition group (group B), Nutrison+composite dietary fiber [soluble dietary fiber (SDF):insoluble dietary fiber (IDF)=1:3](Group C), Nutrison+composite dietary fiber [SDF:IDF=3:1](Group D). Respectively extracted blood samples of rats’portal vein and aorta abdominalis then compared expression of endotoxin and D-lactic acid in the blood serum of rats in each group during12h,24h,48h.Results The release of the group C and D in serum endotoxin and D-lactic acid is lower than in group A and group B (P<0.05).the release of the group B is lower than group A(P<0.05). the release of the group C is lower than group D, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion DFC has a protective effect on gut barrier in rat with acute pancreatitis.
