| The purpose:through the clinical and experimental research, to observe thesynergistic effects of compound Shougong powder on chemotherapy for lung cancerof middle and late period, and to explore its mechanism of action.Methods: the clinical study divided60patients of primary bronchogeniccarcinoma of lung diagnosed with cytology and pathology into two groups randomly,one of which received combination treatment of this drug and chemotherapycontaining30cases, the other one was treated with only chemotherapy containingthe left30cases. The effects during the clinical study were observed. Theexperimental study observed the effects of this drug and western drugs on JAK-STAT3signal transduction pathway in mice of Lewis lung cancer.Results: the clinical results suggested that the combined treatment group showedbetter curative effects on the aspects of the clinical symptoms of shortness of breath,cough, chest pain, enhancing the quality of life, reducing the side effects ofchemotherapy leukopenia, etc than that of the control group(p<0.05or p<0.01).Animal experiments showed that the drug could significantly inhibit local tumorgrowth; the expression levels of JAK2and STAT3protein in each group reducedto different degrees and JAK2decreased especially obviously.Conclusion:compound Shougong powder treatment with combinationchemotherapy period can improve clinical symptoms and life quality, inhibit tumorgrowth and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy for lung cancer a. Its mechanismis likely to work through inhibiting the expression of JAK2/STAT3protein in theJAK-STAT3signal transduction pathway. |
