It can make treatment by theory of toxinbecome a new way, for that improving curative effect, shorting course of the disease, reducing recrudesce. Methods: We collect the cases of patients who are in hospital of TCM in JiangsuProvince from 2002 to 2006, and establish studying standards. We observe the relationbetween symptom and toxin, in order to study pathogenesis of toxin. We extractprescription, and sum up drugs in common use and representative therapeutics of that.We analyse the internal principium of the therapeutics, in order to seek applying ofdetoxifcation, draining toxin and resisting toxin. Results: The disease have the characters and symptoms of toxin, and toxin run thoughall the courses of it. Toxin made up in internal toxin and external toxin. External toxininclude six-evil toxin, food toxin, insect toxin, medicine toxin and so on. Inter toxininclude blood-black toxin, wet toxin, and heat toxin. Toxin usually cause the disease alongwith wind, heat, blood-black and wet. The special therapeutics of toxin includingdetoxifcation, draining toxin and resisting toxin. They are usual cold blood anddetoxifcation, clearing heat and detoxifcation, dispel wind and detoxification, diuresisand detoxifcation. We usually use three or four of them, sometime use two of them. Theircore of match usually is cold blood and detoxifcation. Furthermore, we use along withorther treatment according to state, location of the illness, constitution of the patient andso on.Conclusion: Toxin is one ofpathogeny factors, we can study the pathogenesis from toxin, in order to establish the new theory of pathogeny, guide treatment, and improve curativeeffect.
