Clinical Research Of Yishenhuayu Decoction On Treating Aged Diabetes Mellitus With Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objectives: To Observe the clinic efficacy of Yishenhuayu Decoction on treatingaged diabetes mellitus with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. To assess thetherapy function and the safety of Yishenhuayu Decoction.Methods: 52 aged patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome ofdiabetes mellitus were randomly divided into two groups. 26 patients in treatment groupwere treated with Yishenhuayu Decoction and depress blood sugar western medicine,26patients in control group were treated only with depress blood sugar western medicine.Onecourse of treatment was 4 weeks,observe 2 courses.Observe and analysis the changes ofsymptom-complex correlate with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Observeand analysis the FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,TC, TG,LDL-C,HDL-C, biood viscosity and SODbefore and after treatment in both groups.Results: Yishenhuayu Decoction could ameliorate the clinic symptoms of the patientsobviously the difference was significant compared to the control group (P＜0.01). The totaleffective rate was 92.31％in treatment group,10 was excellent,14 was efficient,and 2 wasinefficient among the total. And the total effective rate was 53.85％in control group,2 wasexcellent,12 was efficient,and 12 was inefficient among the total. Meanwhile,treatmentgroup could effectively reduce FBG,2hPBG and HbA1c,which showed a significantdifference before and after treatment (P＜0.01),and the improvement of FBG and 2hPBGhas significant differrence compared to control group(P＜0.05).Treatment group couldeffectively reduce TG and LDL-C.The majority of hemorheology and SOD improved aftertreatment of Yishenhuayu Decoction.Conclusion: Yishenhuayu Decoction has sure curative effection on treating ageddiabetes mellitus with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.It is worth studyingdeeply and developing further.
