| Decoration is a subjective behavior of human’s pursuing the good things, and it is bothunique and universal. Jewelry and clothing are a tool which used to beautify people’s ownbody during this behavior. In a sense, jewelry is a kind of decorations which also belongsto the apparel category. But in terms of value, the effect of jewelry’s symbolism andadornment significance is more important than fashion, because the jewelry usually hasextremely high value. So the jewelry plays a key role in people’s whole collocation. Inshort, Jewelry and clothing are two things that are both generality and inclusion andindividual character and unique existence. This paper expounds the origin of man’sjewelry, function evolution of various factors, and the relationship between jewelry andfashion. In this paper, by conducting a questionnaire survey in a certain range of market byinternet, the author analyzes the data using the statistical methods. The author analyzes thereasons such as what kind of jewelry the men want to buy, why men wear jewelry, and themarket conditions of the men’s jewelry, etc. The author also provides some guidance andsuggestions for male jewelry design development. |
