’The situation of women in the late Qing Dynasty was more complicated and the troubles that they encountered were more than men when they meet the social reality’. The sentence is selected from the introduction of’Late Qing Women and Modern China’called’The Reconstruction of Later Qing’, which is written by Professor Xia Xiaohong. And is the original point for which the study of women of Hui people is used as a window of studying the whole culture of Hui people.The research of Hui people has developed into an independent subject from the original studies on the construction of Hui literary, which concludes the studies of the historical trace of Hui as well as various aspects in the Hui society, such as the economies, cultures, social systems, customs and psychological qualities. The studies on the Hui Islamic cultures, social development and the women of Hui people as well as the Muslim population and education, which paid closely attention to the problems of reality in the Hui internal society, have become a mainly subject. The studies of female Hui which is an aspect of the studis of the problems in female Hui involved many fields. The great achievements of them have provided many resources and solutions in resolving the problems of female Hui people. The studies on the women of Hui People in the fields of literature originated from the studies of the images of female Hui People who are described by some Hui authors. While they merely study the culture of Hui people from the angles of Hui literature, they just study the Hui writers’works as well as the customs and aesthetic concerns of Hui people. Based on this weak point, the thesis is trying to study the original point of the history and literature of Hui People and how they shaped them from the analysis and understandings of the images of female Hui people as well as their status in the society and family life so as to explain the Hui culture more objectively, more historically and literarily.
