The myths materials were recorded in Shan Hai Jing is the most in the history of Chinese mythology, partof the mountain was based on mountains and depicts many mythical figures around the mountains. This articleselects the most representative mountain and mythical figure to study, which is KunLun mountain and XiWangmu. Which discussed the Kunlun Mountain’s central position and the relationship between the XiWangmu’s image change. Interpretation the change reason through a combination of myth, history andgeography factors, at the same time exploring the mountain’s central position change on the influence of theancients worship of the gods.The Kun Lun Mountain as the ancient period has the highest status, mountain can compare with it. So XiWangmu was worshiping by the ancient because she was living in the Kun Lun, but as the political centre’movement to the east, the kunlun mountains’ center position gradually replaced by mount tai which located inthe east of China, Xi Wangmu who was born in the Kun Lun also transition to the Dong Wang Gong’s wifebecause the position change. The status of the drop is related to the male center society structure, culturalcentre’ movement to the east,mount tai is easy to act as communication medium between heaven and man, seatown for humans more mysteries. Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu’s seeking immortality, Feng Shan has beenfuelled about this change, the worship of god towards to the east, and strive to the ritual sacrifice is combinedwith the immortal pursuit. In this paper, combined with the mountain center displacement and cultural centerdisplacement, and combined with myth of the characters and immortal words of character. Deeply analyzedhistory and cultural factors reason for Xi Wangmu’s status change. Explore the immortal’s image change fromhorrific to the beautiful and graceful had a certain reference value. Such as explain the relationship betweenheaven and man in Chinese philosophy, relationship between man and nature in the Chinese mythology, themystical and majesty of Chinese classical aesthetics, intimate and beautiful, and ancient Chinese literature inthe mythical figure down the altar become friend with people.
