In the study of Kant’s Aesthetics, the condition of the sensationally universalnecessity that is alleged by a judgment of taste is the idea of sensus communis, whichis essentially different from the common understanding and the agreeable, withjudging by feelings but not by concepts. Though Kant make explanation on the sensuscommunis, it is still an indeterminate and assumed norm, depending on the cognitionto communicate universally. The indeterminacy also admits of many interpretations, which are divided into four trends consisting of the phenomenological reconstructionof the sensus communis, the deconstruction of the sensus communis, exploring thepolitical potential of sensus communis aestheticus, combining the interest and otherempirical matters into the abstract sensus communis-a route conducting by Chinesefollowers since1900s when Kantian Aesthetics’ first introduced in China.Above all, among these four trends, when the following researchers discussing theoperation of the sensus communis, they could not draw a convincing answer toexplain the gap between singular judgment of taste and the universal beauty. In orderto keep answering this question, I will try to combine the natural science and mindscience, finding out the similarity of the quantum mechanics and sensus communisaestheticus, according to the research of the quantum mechanics of consciousness. Soin this dissertation,I will try to retrospect the history of the study of Kantian sensuscommunis as well as explaining the operation of the sensus communis, which isacademically valuable in the study of Kant’s aesthetics.
