Ethical Examination Of The Post-Modern Feminism

After two hundred years of development,with the western countries entering the post-industrial process.as well as the rising of post-modernism thought,feminism has entered into a new developing stage,and a new genre of theory——postmodern feminism has been created.Modern feminism has absorbed and introjected postmodern thought,and on the basis of it postmodern feminism is formed,and it marks the latest developing direction of feminism.Strengthening postmodern feminism research has important significance for promoting the development of feminism theory and solving the realistic problem faced by women.This paper firstly introduces the related concepts and development process of feminism, as well as reviewing and analyzing the main theoretical genre of feminism. Secondly, it is pointed out that modern feminism was faced a bottleneck in the development. Under the influence of postmodern thought, postmodern feminism, basing on the modern feminism, emerged as the times require. Once again, this paper combs and analyzes the two theoretical system of postmodern feminism, namely the criticism of social gender theory and the absorption of Foucault’s ideas of power, and on this basis comments the theoretical value as well as existing problems of the postmodern feminism. Finally, using the discourse power and the female subjectivity construction of postmodern feminism, as well as the de-centralization and de-marginalization thoughts, this paper analyzes the Political participation, employment, marriage and family problems facing contemporary women, and puts forward some corresponding solving measures.To pass though the ethical examination of postmodern feminism, the author hopes to indagate and excavate the valuable thoughts about discourse power, female subjectivity, opposition of "authority" and "binary opposition" in postmodern feminism, and make it enrich and perfect the study about female moral, female emotion, female value in Ethics, in order to provide reference for eliminating the gender bias in social culture and people’s ideological concept and fighting for all-round free development of women.
