From Khunnu Empire China and Mongolia are neighbors, so it is the mostfrequent phenomenon that for the two countries communicate with each other.For once, due to various reasons, the relations between the two countriesstagnated. In recent years, with the warming of relations between the twocountries,a wide range of communication has taken place in politics,economy, culture, education, science and other fields. Therefore, more andmore Mongolians begin to learn Chinese. Learning Chinese, language isnot the only aspect, the national thinking and the national culture should alsobe included. All the essence is clearly embodied in the idioms of a language.Meanwhile, numerals culture also has embodied in the language and culturein large numbers, idioms and numerals together form the special culturetreasure “idioms containing numerals”. The idioms containing numerals withtheir rich and colorful content in two languages can be found everywhere, soit is worthwhile to notice the teaching of idioms containing numerals.Numerical idioms can not fail to mention the abstract meaning of it inteaching, for students don’t understand number symbolism, don’t know aboutthe characteristics of numerals, as a result,the misunderstanding and themisuse would lead to biased errors. In this paper, the comparative analysis has been given between Mongolian numerical idioms and Chinese numericalidioms combined with its symbolic significance; also it roughly explains thesymbolism related to the numbers. these numerical culture reflected greatly inthe special traditional customs of the two peoples and national colors, and it ishelpful in learning.In this paper, the research mainly focuses on:1. From the aspects of number symbolism, it gives an analysis in the symbolicsignificance of the Mongolian and Chinese numerical idioms.2. From the Angle of number symbolism, it explains the similarities anddifferences of two numerical idioms.3. It gives us the analysis on numerical idioms biased errors and its teachingstrategies according to the situation of comprehension and usage of numericalidioms.Literary talent shows its excellence greatly in idioms. The mastery ofChinese depends significantly on the grasp of the idioms. So what causes thebiased errors in learning Chinese idioms even to the senior learners? Whatmakes many Mongolian students think it’s difficult to Chinese idiom? In thispaper, the biased errors in learning numerical idioms are analyzed. Chineseidioms, especially the digital structure, source and meaning of the idiom itself,the abstract meaning of many aspects, all of these give rise to the obstacles inlearning Chinese vocabulary. Due to the limited exposure in Chinese idiomsfor primary learners, so the senior Mongolian students are chosen as a test object of study. This paper examined the bias errors in the process of learningChinese numerical idioms.It is visible from the results of the survey ofMongolian students learning numerical idioms that the indiscriminate use inlanguage learning affected by the native language can be found everywhere.And the failure of mastering the symbolic Chinese figures and the disorderuse lead to biased errors, etc.In this paper, the Mongolian Chinese numerical idioms and the numericalanalysis of the symbolism for Mongolian students have been discussed.Besides, it analyzes the errors of digital idioms learning, further exploresthe effective ways to learn Chinese for Mongolian students, promotes thecorrect use of numerical idioms for Chinese learners, thus improving theirlanguage competence, and putting forward some teaching suggestions.
