The Role Of Mongolian Milky Tea Plays In The Life Of City Mongolians

Mongolian milky tea is an important part of Mongolia diet culture, is also an important part of Mongolia culture. Diet culture of a nation includes its characteristics of the diet and eating habits. These characteristics and habits can reflect a nation’s economy, culture, history, mode of production and life from a different angle and become an inseparable part of the tradition and also carry the task of keeping and inheriting the history and culture of the nation. There are many researches on Mongolia milky tea relative customs, but few of them research from the perspective of anthropology. With the continuous development and growth of anthropology, more and more researches from cultural anthropology are focusing on food culture, which also injected vitality to the study of food culture and provided a new research perspective. In this paper, from the perspective of cultural anthropology and through the collection of historical documents, combined with the fieldwork on Hohhot Mongolian milky-tea-drink ing status, a large number of questionnaires and Interviews along with Mongolian Forum Members interviews by taking advantage of network resources, we systematically studied city Mongolian milky tea drinking situation and the significance of milky tea for the Mongolian living in Hohhot, investigated different people and environment respectively and verified&analyzed using research method of cultural anthropology, and then elaborated the role that Mongolia milky tea plays in the life of city Mongolia family which covered the cultural anthropology research shortages on the Mongolian milky tea to some extent.This article mainly include introduction, body, conclusion three parts. The introduction part introduces the topic-selecting background, the significance of the topic, research methods, research purposes, previous researches and etc.The main body consists of three chapters. The first chapter consists of three sections and it mainly introduces the fieldwork place-Hohhot City, and expounds the reasons for choosing Hohhot Municipal as Research Site; In section second, Mongolia milky tea overview introduces types, functions and methods of making Mongolia milky tea and tea-tasting; The third section mainly introduced Mongolia tea culture which including tea ceremony,ritual,symbol,taboo and maxim in the custom and culture level.The second chapter mainly introduces the city Mongolian tea-drinking status, is composed of three sections, The first section introduces and analyses the origin of the connection between traditional city Mongolian families and Mongolia milky tea; the second section mainly introduces and analyses the meaning of Mongolia milky tea for Mongolian college students comes from pasturing area; The third section introduces and analyses the status of the Mongolia milky tea marketization because of urbanization.The third chapter summarizes the important role of Mongolia milky tea in city Mongolia family life, is composed of three sections. The first section summarizes the Mongolia milky tea as a cultural identity mark; the second section mainly introduces the symbolized Mongolia milky tea; The third section mainly introduces the social function of Mongolia milky tea.Conclusion part summarizes the full text, and proposed own opinion.
