The present thesis summaries the grade examination for Mongolian Standard Pronunciation organized at the examination stations all over the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region from2004to the end of2012, making use of investigation materials got from kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, broadcasting stations and TV stations in Shilingol League, Ulaanhad (Chifeng) City, Ordos City and Tongliao City. Statistical data of examinee, test grades, attitudes to Mongolian Standard Pronunciation, achievements and shortcomings of the popularization of the standard pronunciation are researched. Exploration of the problem-solving methods in training and testing of Mongolian Standard Pronunciation is the objective of the thesis.The full text is composed of introduction, main body (four chapters), summary and references. The introduction gives general information related to project source, purpose and significances of research project, research history, research methods and research material.Chapter One introduces laws, regulations and official documents for the grade examination for Mongolian Standard Pronunciation, the process of establishments of the examination stations, publishing of The Guide Book of the Grades Examination for Mongolian Standard Pronunciation, as well as the training of teachers and testers.Chapter Two introduces the training and testing situations observed from the examination stations during the period from2004to the end of2012. Exam results are analyzed in this chapter as well.Investigation materials got from Shilingol League, Ulaanhada (Chifeng) City, Ordos City and Tongliao City are also summarized and analyzed in Chapter Three.In Chapter Four, the present author summarizes achievements in the Mongolian Standard Pronunciation Test, finds out problems existing and puts forward proposals for popularizing Mongolian Standard Pronunciation.
