The Creative Conception Of Shanghai City Impression

With the closer relationship between the people and city,more andmore artists begin to pay attention to the theme of city. The rapid development ofmodern city created complicated images and differents memory.It’s the endlesscreative source for artists.Because of different times and feeling, artists always havevarious methods to express. Through the research of them, I try to find out the rightway to express the feeling of my hometown. This paper expounds the proceduresand result of this research by theme,form and vision expression.The first part of the article explain the difference between“urbanlandscapes”and“landscapes”, as well as the difference way of artists for theiremotional expression. On this basis, the second part is mainly described the historyof architecture depicted; impression of the city and the theme of thinking. The thirdpart is a reference in the form of specific artists. Through the study of their creativeprocess, learn from its experience, constantly looking to integrate their own needspainting language. The last part of the works and a brief statement of the "Figurative Expressionism painting " philosophy.
