He was traveling during most of his life. His landscape paintings were influenced by Dong Qichang. He learned predecessors painting methods, and especially beneftied from Wang Meng, Huang Gongwang. He was skilled in painting the scenery of Huangshan and Nanjing. His works have his own personality on the basis of inheriting the tradition, and includ the content of the life and zen. Many of his art beyond the ancient people break through the tradition,.He draw unique works with landscape as the material. The composition of his landscape painting is rigorous, and the wood in his art is flourishing. Therefore, his works has attracted mang people’s intense interest.
