The Study About The Manchurian And The Mongolian’s Political Marriage

Intermarriage, which tribes achieved a political purpose, was often used as a means to consolidate their rule in the ancient China,especially in the Qing dynasty.Intermarriage between the Qing royal family and Mongolian aristocrats had lasted for300years in the Qing dynasty(froml612to1912), which held595times at total. The scale of intermarriage between the Qing dynasty and Mongolia in the duration,the scope of marriage and the number of marriage were much larger than any other dynasties.The Qing rulers not only institutionalized intermarriage between the Qing royal family and Mongolian aristocrats but also raised it as a national policy,which played a very important role in the consolidation and development of the unified multi-ethnic country. Therefore, intermarriage between the Qing royal family and Mongolia aristocrats has become an important issue in the study of the Qing history and the history of Manchu,as well as the relationship history of Manchuria and Mongolia,and which not only had a great historical value in summarize the experiences and lessons of the Qing national relationship.but had profound significance for national policies of domestic and overseas nowadays as well.In this paper, the author does research on intermarriage between the Qing and Mongolia before the troops of Qing invaded the main land of China,and will show his view in the following parts.The first part describes about E-fu of the Qing dynasty, mainly from the E-fu’s grade,categories and E-fu’s hierarchical differences in the family relationship, to show a pointing device of E-fu’s system in four areas.The second part is about intermarriage in Nurhaci’s period,the main content as follows:(1) The author discusses from the two aspects of historical and realistic to show the reasons of marriage appearance between Qing and Mongolian,give a brief description of marriage in Nurhaci’s period;(2) The author analyzes the rarities of the Mongolian E-fu in two aspects during the Nurhaci’s period;(3) Based on the Engel Del E-fu and the Oba E-fu’s depiction,so that readers could get a direct understanding of the Qing dynasty during Nurhaci’s period.The third part is about intermarriage in Hong Taiji’s period,the main content as follows:(1) the author gives a brief introduction and characteristics of intermarriage in Hong Taiji’s period;(2) and analyzes the reason of E-fu’s increase in Hong Taiji’s period;(3) and discusses the characteristics of Mongolian E-fu in Hong Taiji’s period;(4) about E-fu of Mongolian in Hong Taiji’s period.The fourth part is about influence of Mongolian maharaja recruit for E-fu before Qing dynasty entering Shanhaiguan,the author will discuss from the influence of Qing dynasty rulers recruit Mongolian maharaja as E-fu to the Qing dynasty’s before entering Shanhaiguan and the influence to Mongolians well as effect to Ming dynasty.Conclusion:The author gives an inductive summary according to Mongolian E-fu as an investigation object of intermarriage between Mongolian and Manchu before Qing dynasty’s entering into Shanhaiguan.
