Since the Superman directed by Richard Donner was shown in1978, the movies in which a hero with super power praised virtue and punished vice have been popular in Hollywood. Nearly some period, Hollywood will promote such a hero on the screen, including Superman, Batman, Spider-man, X-men, Fantastic Four, and Iron Man.The superhero movies not only have outstanding box office, but also are approved and know by vast audiences based on the fixed plots, themes, and contents. During the repeated production process, the superhero movies have their unique style and narrative characteristics, such as:fixed visual code (tight and modern metropolis), single-face role (superhero and super badass) and foreseeable story (the superhero should hide his identity to common people, and should fight against the super badass trying to destroy the metropolis by himself).Through the methodology of structuralism mythology, the culture anxiety in superhero movies and how Hollywood reconcile the culture anxiety is studied from2different dimensions including synchronicity and diachronism. Thus, the secret of the dream production system in the dream factory, Hollywood, is found.
